In this lesson you will learn to count to 9,999,999 in English and to spell the words for the numbers.
The colors will help you remember and spell the words.
1) First, learn the numbers 0 to 10 in English. (click here to go to this part)
2) Then, learn the numbers 11 to 19 in English. (click here to go to this part)
3) Next, learn the numbers 20 to 29 in English. (click here to go to this part)
4) Now you are ready to count to 99 in English. (click here to go to this part)

First learn all the green words (0-10).
0 Zero

The green words are almost like the numbers 11-19, with teen added.

Use the green words plus twenty for the numbers 20-29.

Now you can use the words you already know, plus hundred, for the numbers 100-999!

And now you can count to 9,999 when you learn one more word: thousand.
1,000 One thousand
1,050 One thousand fifty
2,000 Two thousand

9,999 Nine thousand ninety-nine
Million means 1,000,000. How do you say this number:
9,999,999?
Nine million, nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine
