Our Mission

MTAC Stanislaus County Branch


It is the mission of the Music Teachers' Association of California to pursue excellence in music education throughout California.

Organizational goals are to promote the endurance and growth of the music teaching profession and maintain the current high standard for membership in the organization; to provide opportunities for an increasing number of students to explore their musical  potential, expand their knowledge and appreciation of music, and cultivate their varying skills and levels of ability.

In carrying out this mission, our teacher members are pledged to hold themselves accountable to the highest professional and ethical standard and maintain this standard for the organization as a whole.
