Only a few spaces left for 2008!Click HERE to read an article Robert wrote about his experience hunting the Gould turkey.Accommodations for the hunt are provided only an hour and a half away from Durango, Mexico. You stay in two four-man tents in a very comfortable mountain camp. The food and services are provided by Jorge Breton, the Outfitter, and guides are first class. Hunting takes place in the surrounding countyside on land leased by the Outfitter-- no other hunters! There is a very large area available for turkey hunting, which takes place around 6-7,000 feet evalation. There are many longbeards. A second turkey can be taken for $500.00. I hunted with Jorge last year and took four turkeys. His hunts were 100% kill the last two years. The weather is beautiful and the scenery is magnificent. Mornings and nights are normally a littlle cool with a nice warm-up during the day. Hunt Cost:Three and one-half day hunts are $1,800.00. This includes, lodging, food, beverage, local transportation to hunt area, skinning and prep for your turkey, and use of good American guns and ammo. This is the best priced hunt out there for the Goulds! To book a hunt:Hunts must be booked early. We are now taking reservations for 2008. The hunts take place during the monts of April and May. Anyone serious about going should contact me about making reservations as soon as possible. A 50% deposit is required to make reservations.
