The Company

Fire2Wire is a company that has been on the cutting edge of the computer industry for the past 24 years, specializing in computer and network infrastructure solutions to companies around California. In the last eight years, Fire2Wire has expanded its scope into the Internet service arena providing connection services, domain registration, web site hosting, and most recently high-speed wireless for the entire county and beyond. The name of Fire2Wire was formed when PC-intouch was purchased by Dace Computers in 1998.

The Management

Founder and CEO Duane Severson started Fire2Wire 24 years ago in Modesto, California when he saw a need for network administration and knowledgeable support. At the time, there were few people with any experience in this field. Having owned several other businesses in other fields, Duane had the background and experience of running a successful business as well as having the technical expertise to cover computer support. Currently, Duane serves overseeing business growth and expansion.

President Ryan Severson started at an early age getting involved in the computer industry. He studied about computers at the high school and university levels. Ryan attended computer classes at CSU Stanislaus as a senior in High School. He received his upper division education from Brigham Young University and was trained and certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Vice President William Moreno has spent 13 years in the ISP field working for California based ISP's including coming to Fire2wire in 2002. His experience includes 35 years in sales & marketing in the Real Estate, mortgage investment, and retail fields.  He has directed the sales growth of Fire2Wire, a 24-year-old ISP & Network consulting business, expanded its wireless network to cover 5500 square miles throughout the state of California, Hotspots, and hotel Internet connectivity. New clients include Wells Fargo Bank, Burger King, Holiday Inn Express, Ramada Inn and Best Western Hotels.

CTO Kristian Hoffmann has worked at Fire2Wire for more than 13 years completely developing Fire2Wire's Internet services, Web servers and Wireless network. He is actively doing the R&D for Fire2Wire's own line of wireless access points. Kristian has contributed to many hardware drivers and software projects as well. He is considered in many circles as a Linux Guru.

Wireless and  Infrastructure Manager Mike Silva leads the Wireless and outside Technicians. He is in the "thick of things" daily climbing towers, deploying wireless strategies and helping clients achieve their goals. Mike has been with Fire2Wire for more than 10 years and has been a tremendous part of the growth and development of the company.
