Help is Here, the Options Menu

Clicking on "Mail" menu and the "Options" will bring up the options menu. The ESSENTIAL options are the one listed on the "Server" tab as seen below:

Where "Name:" is the your name as you want the world to see it.

"Email Address" is your username followed by @elite.net strung together as one long word. The username for our example is "me" and the e-mail address is "me@elite.net"

Both of the "Servers" settings should not need to be changed. Both should be set to "mail.elite.net"

Under "Logon Settings" the user name is entered in the "Account Name" box. THIS IS NOT YOUR EMAIL ADRRESS! You will not be able to get email if your email adress is entered here. This is the most common mistake in setting up email.

Under "Logon Settings" your current password should be entered in the "Password" box. If you change your password that you use to log on to our system, you will need to change this to continue to receive your email. This is the second most common problem encountered when people can't get to their email.
