Send shuffles your message off to the email address specified in the TO: field. Unless specified in Options, the message is sent immediately.




Quote will paste the body of the message being replied to. The ENTIRE message text is pasted at the cursor point. This button is normally ghosted is a new message is being sent.




and Have the same function, they allow for a file stored on the computer to be sent along with the message. This is normally done so that the recipent can save the attachment and discard the message.




The Address command will bring up the address book. Please refer to the Handbook for reference as to its use.




Mail To: and CC: are both commonly used and may need an email enter on these lines. Enter the recipent(s) name in the line. The CC function is used to send another person a Carbon Copy of your message. A valid email address can be entered on either of these lines.




The SUBJECT: line should be filled in with the topic of the letter. This helps the recipent know what the message is about. For some reason most of my letters get set to me with a subject of "Hey Stupid!" :-)
