The startup section details what appears when Netscape starts up. Most people will want just the browser or the browser and the Netscape mail.

Browser starts with defines what you see when netscape is launched. Most users will select a Home Page location that they visit frequently. The graphic shows the setup to display elite net's home page as the home page. This option also defines what page will appear whenthe "home" button is clicked.

The links box defines how links are displayed. If you have trouble finding what parts of text are links, you might want to have them underlined. A followed link has a different color than an unfollowed link. The expire after # days option tells netscape how many days it should "remember" and change the color for a link that has been visited.
