Second Internet Connection!

Elite.Net is pleased to announce that it is now connected to the internet via two separate connections. The current connection with AGIS and a new connection with UUNET.

The connections have been set up to support redundancy so that if one connection should stop working, then the other connection will pick up the traffic. This should help reduce internet outages to a minimum since it would be rare to have both connections quit simultaneously.

When both connections are working normally, then the best route is chosen automatically for each customer's traffic. This should help improve performance and keep internet congestion under control.

Problems may show up as the connections are tuned for performance and reliability; check the status page before you call to see if Elite.Net has already identified the problem and is working on it.
